Hirup Cafe Seksyen 9 Shah Alam

Found this highly rated cafe on google and we were not disappointed. Great coffee with fingerlickin' hotdogs was a good combination, service was considered fast during peak hours on weekend. Environment very lepak-style and chill but not so comfortable if you are with a big family, but they do have outdoor and indoor seating. They prepared some games like congkak and UNO cards so its a plus point for family with kids. We also tried carbonara pasta from the "21 kitchen" food truck opposite the cafe, and the kids said it was delicious. Overall, will definitely comeback if we are in this area again. At first glance, the place looked like just another regular coffee café from the outside. But I couldn’t help but wonder why there were so many people hanging out outside. The moment I stepped in—my god, the vibe hit me. It was incredibly soothing. The music had a retro feel, and the lighting was just so cozy. Honestly, the ambiance was amazing. As for the drinks and food—the drinks were okay, tasty enough, but not mind-blowingly good. But the salted brownies? Absolutely next level. The taste literally blew me away. I felt like crying because it was just that perfect.

I come here to study sometimes! It's very homey and doesn't get too busy until the evening since they're open until quite late. I got some scones and an iced caramel macchiato, but I felt like I couldn't leave yet so I also got a lemonade later on. There are also some cats that come inside sometimes. I don't know their names but they're all very friendly and don't make a mess. There's also some card games, congkak and books to read too if you come here with friends or have nothing else to do. Love coming here, will come again as always

Had to set up our own seating outside cz no one was monitoring that area. Better if set up the places straight away instead of waiting for customers to come. Food and drinks were good. I often order their babycino for the kids

The Local coffee spot. Last Visited on 2245pm, 6th May 2025 Good Vibes all around, slow local music playing in the background- perfect for catching up session. Books to read, Congkak ready, Mood Lighting Original Review: Best to enjoy it at night.
